Whitney has been making crackers for family and friends for years.Meanwhile, Vermont has become one of the largest producers of artisan cheeses in the country. What better combination than cheese and crackers, especially crackers that are good for you. Castleton Crackers come in three flavors; Middlebury Maple, Rutland Rye and Windham Wheat and are made by hand with all natural Vermont ingredients whenever possible. An avid cook and baker, Whitney has taught cooking classes for years in Massachusetts and Vermont. A past winner of the King Arthur Flour Winterbake cooking contest, Whitney has also been featured in Bon Appetit magazine and is the host of the new cooking show, “What’s Cookin’ Rutland” airing monthly on PEG TV.
Castleton Crackers debuted at the Rutland Winter’s Farmer’s Market in January and you’ll find Whitney there every Saturday giving out samples and selling her product.
